We had the most incredible day on Julian‘s bikes. He was such an incredible communicator in advance of our trip and he made riding through Dijon and wine country easy and enjoyable. The E bikes We’re a great option for us. We didn’t use much of the assistance on the way out to the vineyards, but on our way back to make it in time, the pedal assist was perfect. It’s important to note that you do have to ride through the city (and the streets are quite busy) to get to the roads out to the vineyards.

Great experience biking along the wine yards with the possibility to stop and taste the produce. Appreciated the stop in marsannay. Julian is very hospitable and friendly, giving useful tips for the road!

Wow, this is a life experience you won't want to miss. You will never think about wine in the same way after bicycling through the beautiful Burgundy vineyards. Our guide shared wonderful and informative stories, and our picnic wine and cheese tasting was a great way to finish our tour. We had all levels of biking ability, but everyone enjoyed the experience (after all, it was not a race). As a bonus, we got to see 2 beautiful work horses in the vineyards, it felt like stepping back in time. Highly recommended.

Notre expérience n'a pas été au niveau que semble suggérer les critiques. Nous avions réservé des vélos pour une semaine de tour de Bourgogne. La réservation n'a pas du être notée correctement et l'un des vélos était en piteux état. Notamment un pneu lisse et usé jusqu'à la corde qui a finit par crever. La Velo Vie a remboursé la réparation, néanmoins le magasin de Beaune ayant fait cette réparation avait une longue liste d'autres éléments en mauvais état sur le vélo. Dommage.

Nous avons fait une magnifique balade à vélo dans la campagne au départ de Dijon pour finir le long du canal près du lac Kir. Tout ça sur les très bons conseils de Julian et avec tout ce qu'il faut en équipements pour profiter pleinement de cette grande journée.

I showed up without reservation at the end of the day (not a smart thing to do, Julian can be out of his shop, but I was lucky to catch him). I rented a bike for a couple of days, Julian provided for free a quality chain, a repair kit, a helmet and a phone holder, the latter came very handy. The temperatures were a bit high, so I decided to avoid the heat by starting off at 6 am and covering all the planned distance till noon- the strategy worked perfectly. I had a great trip from Dijon via the Route des grands crus to Beaune, then by the Voie des Etangs to Chagny, and then by Canal du Centre to Chalon and then by la Voie Bleue to Tournus and Macon. Julian is available on WhatsApp, which is really great for international e-sim holders. From Macon I got back to Dijon on train (you have to reserve space for your bike online in addition to buying a ticket for yourself, it is free. In my case, the train staff saw me boarding with the bike but didn't check neither my ticket, nor the bike reservation.) Julian wasn't in his shop upon the return of the bike, but sent me on WhatsApp a detailed video instruction on where exactly I should put the bike - it was great I didn't have to wait and was able to do it myself hassle-free. Shortly, recommended a lot! Thank you Julian!
